Susy Minor Co-Owner, Stylist, Makeup Artist
Susy has always had a passion for all things creative, starting off in the music industry before pivoting to the beauty world. She focuses on being well-rounded as a stylist by staying current with trends and balancing cut & color as equal contributors to the final look. Creating a safe space for her guests will always be a priority, and she loves to help folks feel more at home in their skin using her quirky humor and personality as an anchor to every service. Eco-friendliness is another big priority for Susy, making her Davines products and color a shining star. If you’re looking to add some length or body to your hair, she’s got you covered there as well - she’s certified through Aqua Hair Extensions. Susy and her sister, Amy, purchased ArtBoxx Suites in 2022 and are thrilled to offer area creatives the ability to be their own “head hanchos” within the beautiful mid-century building that houses the suites. Amy Ridgeway Co-Owner, Stylist
Amy has always sought out ways to help and serve people. After 20 years in the social services field, she chose to switch avenues and direct her abilities toward the salon chair. Amy purchased Artboxx Salon Suites with her sister, Susy, in 2022 and after achieving her cosmetology degree has not looked back. Making her clients a priority and guiding them on their beauty journey is just an extension of her personality. She finds great joy in providing a safe space, promoting self-confidence, and self-expression for everyone. Amy and Susy offer bridal packages that are customizable for whatever your day requires. Heavily influenced by the arts, Mandi started a career path in the hair industry. After graduating cosmetology school In 2006, she began her journey behind the chair. Her aim is to promote confidence in others through self-expression and she believes doing hair is a great way to encourage that. Over the years, Mandi has refined her skills through experience and continued education. Her abilities range from classic looks, fashion tones, practical and wearable looks, and the precision involved in barbery. Mandi strives to perform above and beyond clients expectations. Bonnie has always loved being creative and making people feel good. She has been doing hair for 24+ years and sharpens her skills with training and new techniques. She believes a great hair style is what makes people feel more confident and feel good about themselves. The goal in her suite is to have a place people can come and feel safe and relaxed. Hi! I have been specializing in men’s and boy’s hair and beard services for almost 10 years, and absolutley adore what I do! I am an Eau Claire local but moved to Florida for a few years to escape the long winters. I’m excited to be back in town with my own hair suite to provide the most personalized and welcoming service that I possibly can! I love working with everyone, including very first haircuts. I have handicap accessibility and offer discounts to both military and law enforcement individuals. Sarah that’s me- as a little girl I aspired to find a way to make a person smile. I always knew I found peace in the field of cosmetology, I found a passion that made me want to wake up. After I graduated high school I went straight to beauty school 21 years and counting I can’t call it a career because it doesn’t feel like work. To live a dream was to accomplish success which was making every guest in my chair feel what they need while being there, at the same time bringing a new life to their strands! Always I welcome new guests, and if I can’t do it I will learn as continuing education has always been a priority of mine. I’m fascinated how my work can completely change not just how people look but also how they feel about themselves. Therefore, I constantly work on improving my skills by learning new techniques, experimenting, and keeping myself up to date with current trends. I’ve always loved working with hair and I’m happy that my passion became a career and my way of making people happy! I especially love doing color and highlights!
